Swans F2.2 is the smallest model in our Flagship Series of statement speakers. We spent many hours designing an, at least proportionately so, affordable and real-world-sized example of what we do best to bring music and home cinema to life. We succeeded.  

Not only but also for complex musical passages, the speaker almost seems to step into the background and provide just an incredibly realistic music playback with a three-dimensional stage presentation. The acoustic performance of the F2.2 is defined through its high resolution ribbon tweeter and extremely fast midrange units. Like all large versions of Swans high-end speakers, the F2.2 uses the modular construction-design as well and is presented here in an effective D'Appolito array. Low vibrations of the two D8 subwoofers are as a consequence of the modular concept effectively decoupled from the upper frequency range. Because of the complex structure, standing waves inside the housing are effectively suppressed. The comprehensive assembly in connection with the high-quality D8 drivers results in a nearly flawless reproduction of the lower octaves. The F2.2 accurately reproduce a plucked bass or low-pitched sounds of a church organ but just as important, they present the ambient room-based bass cues so important in music appreciation. If an amplifier with stable power supplies is provided, this speaker is capable of unrestrained high levels without constraint to whatever kind of music is played.
